Things to do in Thailand

If you are not sure about what to do in Thailand ... here are some tips for you!  You should try to travel by train. Do you remember the famous Orient Express? It still exists and proposes a package of 8 days / 7 nights. The Eastern and Oriental Express make several stops during which you can do guided tours, such as the Death Railway, the bridge over the River Kwai, the remains of World War II, river cruises.

The train after Thailand goes to Malaysia and then to Singapore. Enjoy playing golf. Thailand is also known for its golf courses. Thanks to the flow of tourists who love this sport different tour operators were born offering packages at different rates. Among other things Thailand is known to be the destination with the lowest rates in all of South East Asia.

Go to the Festival of Songkran and Loi Krathong. The first is is the Thai New Year and is held in mid-April. It is celebrated with water games in the streets and images of Buddha undergo ritual baths. Finally, young people pour water on the hands of their parents, a touching scene. Another festival is that of Loi Krathong. During this festival the rivers at night are illuminated by miniature boats carrying flowers, incense and a small candle. It is a tribute to the goddess in the full moon night of the 11th lunar month.

A romantic festival, where couples make their krathong floating together. You can participate in throughout the country wherever there is a river, but the place is most memorable in the ruins of Sukhothai Historical Park, where it originated many centuries ago. In Thailand you will enjoy two courses: the Tom Yam Kung (spicy broth with lemon leaves and fresh shrimp) and the Phat Thai (Thai-style pasta). You can attend a cooking course lasting 1 day or more. The courses also include a trip to the local market to buy fresh products to use as ingredients.

Find koh samui villas for rent: the best choice for your holiday. You will love your thailand villa resort!
